This Saturday, September 11, 2010, just before the first plane hit the first TOWER at 8:46, Anne and I will stand together hand in hand in front of our two flagpoles; one Canadian, the other American.
Both flags will be lowered to half-mast. Anne and I will have tears in our eyes remembering the images of that horrible morning nine years ago.
As we have ALWAYS done after standing in silence for a moment, Anne and I will go into the house and light a Yarzeit Candle, which is a Jewish memorial candle that will burn for 24 hours in memory to all those who lost their lives on that day.
This was not the day Islam declared war on America, Modernity, and Secular Freedom. That happened long before. But it was the day most of the Blind, Deaf, and Dumb in the West finally recognized that we were at war.
BUT NOW, WE’RE BACK TO WHERE WE WERE BEFORE 9/11:
It seems to me that the lesson of 9/11 has become lost to many, if not MOST of the people who are now apologists for Islam.
Even on FOX News amongst opinionists the likes of Sean Hannity, the description of Islam as a violent religion has been usurped every time Hannity and all others like him describe how “ISLAM HAS BEING HIGH JACKED BY RADICAL EXTREMISTS”.
OH YEAH?
Nothing could possibly be further from the truth. Islam is an EXTREME RADICAL RELIGION that has zero tolerance for many of those FREEDOMS we in the West accept as the norm for our societies.
Islam is all about hatred. They hate FREEDOM for women. They hate Homosexuals. They hate FREEDOM of religion. And they hate FREE Speech.
But MOST of all – They HATE Democracy.
And that’s what the Koran is all about.
Biblical scholars are ALWAYS debating and interpreting every passage in the Bible and Torah. There are entire books dedicated to nothing else. There are architectural digs throughout the Middle East with the sole purpose of better understanding the history, the meaning and the truth of Judaism and Christianity.
And unless someone is an ABSOLUTE biblical fundamentalist (Jewish or Christian) the Bible and Torah are always open to debate.
BUT NOT THE KORAN!
To question any part of the Koran, let alone denounce a passage, is akin to heresy deserving the severest forms of punishment.
To use Mohamed’s name in vain, or even in a depiction of his appearance in a cartoon, or to write despairingly about him is reason enough for demands of death to the perpetrator(s).
While on the other hand, Jews and Jewish holy books are constantly besmirched worldwide.
Christians and their religious beliefs and icons are always under attack and insult in the most egregious ways, MORE often than not by fellow Christians.
BUT – JUST WHISPER SOMETHING NEGATIVE ABOUT ISLAM AND THE WORLD COMES TO AN END.
When the Gainesville Florida Pastor, Terry Jones said that he was going to burn a Koran on 9/11 as his defiance to the Moslems who did such a horrible deed on that fateful day, MOST Americans begged the Pastor NOT to do it.
I thought the burning was a dumb idea that merited nothing.
But, now that there are riots throughout the Moslem World and THREATS of Moslem violence within America by American Moslems, I SAY BURN IT!
I have no interest in seeing the Koran burnt for the sake of burning a book that I personally find offensive, but we cannot keep backing down to threats.
As I wrote to a Galganov.com reader the other day, it was Publius Flavius Vegetius Renatus who some 1500 years ago wrote:
“Igitur qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum.”
MEANING:
IF IT IS PEACE THAT YOU DESIRE . . . PREPARE FOR WAR.
Read these words very carefully:
America and the Western World did NOT declare war on Islam. They did not restrict the spread of Islam, nor did any Western country deny Moslems their right to the education and devotion of Islam ANYWHERE in the world, INCLUDING Israel, a country Islam has sworn to destroy.
But, just about anywhere we look on the planet; Islam has declared war on those who are not Moslem, or those who are Moslem but of a different Sect.
Wherever there is TERROR, murder and mayhem in the name of religion, there seems to be an Islamic group responsible for the outrages committed.
Also – Wherever there are sizable groups of Moslems in European countries such as France, England, Germany, the Netherlands – etc, there is significant disharmony, poverty, Islamic slum neighborhood ghettoes where even the police fear to tread, and a roadmap for religious strife.
9/11 will be forever etched in my very being. It has fundamentally changed me. It has made me acutely aware that there are savages who live to hate, and self-absorbed elitist enablers who help them do it.
AND NOW AMERICA HAS THE GREATEST ENABLER OF THEM ALL IN THE WHITE HOUSE.
Heed these words:
IF YOU WANT PEACE . . . PREPARE FOR WAR
In Memory of the THOUSANDS who died on 9/11/01, their friends and families who will grieve for them until the day they die, and the greatest nation EVER that has lost its way.

The voters here would gladly elect Obama again to a 3rd term if they could. They are beyond all help. His approval could be in the teens and he would win hands down…I am absolutely convinced of it. The media will be out backing him and shield him from all attacks.
We deserve what is coming to us.
