In Malaysia, The Islamists Outed Themselves.

Now the outgoing Prime Minister of Malaysia has put the cherry on top of the whipped cream.

It has long been argued by some, and judiciously avoided by others, that anti-Zionism and anti-Israel is one and the same as anti-Semitism. For me, there has never been any doubt that one equals the other.

Even though Israel has been repeatedly criticized for having poor PR compared to the Palestinians and the rest of the Arab and Islamist world, I beg to differ.

Israel isn’t as successful as it is because it is populated and run by dummies. There’s no percentage or advantage for Israel to play the “shrill” game and defend itself against every accusation, distortion and lie launched against it.

That’s the job of the Arabs and Islamists.

It is only a matter of time when the lies and lunacy of the “other side” comes back to bite them on the ass.

With every claim the Arabs make: from the Blood Libels, to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, to the Massacre at Jenin, to the Desecration of the Church of the Nativity; the truth has always been uncontrovertibly different.

On Thursday, April 18, 2002, this was the BBC headline:

Jenin: “massacre evidence growing”.

The BBC then went on with reports from “experts” on how the Israelis did to the Palestinians in Jenin, what the Serbs did to the Bosnians and Kosovars in the Balkans.

Another headline in the same report read:

“A United Nations special envoy described the devastation as horrific beyond belief”.

We all know the TRUE story. There was no massacre at Jenin. But there was also no apology to Israel, or sincere retraction for disseminating a lie that was very injurious to the reputation and well-being of Israel (Jews).

Wouldn’t that make the BBC and other media just like them, complicit in promoting anti-Semitism through an atrocious lie?

The liars have now placed themselves in a position where their most reliable supporters can no longer stand with them without being painted by the same brush. And that includes members of the very anti-Semitic European media and the United Nations.

But even to them, a fig leaf of credibility has got to have some importance.

Now the outgoing Prime Minister of Malaysia has put the cherry on top of the whipped cream.

If I was to describe the battle between the Arabs (Islamists) and the Jews as a heavy-weight fight, I would pick Mohammad Ali’s “Rope A Dope” tactic, where he just stood along the ropes and let his opponent punch himself out. And when the other combatant had nothing left, Ali would put him away.

The enemies of Israel and the Jews are just about punched out, and prime for the good guys to put them away too, at least for the time being.

Remarks such as were made at this Islamic conference do far more to harm the anti-Semites than they do to harm Jews.

There is no secret that the vast majority of Islamists in that room, who were there to hear the speech of the out-going Malaysian Prime Minister, hate Jews. So, who was the Prime Minister of Malaysia trying to convince?

His words had a profoundly opposite effect to his desired intent.

Certainly, the room-full of Islamists rose to applaud his anti-Semitism, but a much larger world market, including those who are not necessarily friendly to Israel cringed.

To the people who are Israeli supporters, and not anti-Semites, his words were vindication of what they’ve always believed vis a vis Islamist anti-Semitism.

To the people who are neither antagonists nor proponents of Israel and Jews, these remarks have perhaps made them think in a different light.

To the “in-the-closet” anti-Semites, the remarks were so overtly outrageous that even they had to keep their mouth’s shut at the very least, or offer some mealy mouthed condemnation so as not to be “outed” for what and who they really are.

And to the unabashed Jew-haters, these remarks make them look exactly the way they are.

I have no problem with the Arabs, Islamists and other anti-Semites spewing their verbal garbage and lies, since what they say, says far more about them, than it does about their Jewish targets.

The truth is self-evident. This isn’t Nazi, or pre-Nazi Europe, or the Soviet Union, where the dissemination of free thought was impossible.

Goebbels’ strategy of making the lie so big, and telling it so often, that it becomes the accepted truth is no longer such an easy trick to perform.

This is the age of the Internet, Satellite Communications, Cable News Networks and Open Line Radio Talk Shows.

It’s just about impossible in the 21st century to withhold the truth, except in Thugocracies where Freedom of Speech is an alien concept; as in the whole of the Arab world and most Islamic states.

In spite of all the anti-Semitic hate mongering, the Pogroms and the Holocaust during the millennia, the world is far better off for the presence of Jews than not. This is a truth exemplified in everyday life.

Can the same be said about Islamists and Middle Eastern Arabs? Perhaps one day, the truth will set them free.

  1. At first, I was upset when you said you weren’t going to run, but after reading the rest of your article, I understand and think you have made the right decision. You don’t want to lay down with dogs ( no offense to dogs–I absolutely love dogs!), you’ll get fleas!! Politics has become the most corrupt cesspool in our society, so I think you’d be wise to stay out of it. Besides, as Christians, we all know how it will end unless we change and put God back on his throne in our society.
