Jean Chrétien: Canada’s National Embarrassment. And The Francophonie.

As far as I am concerned; let's just close the door on this national embarrassment and walk away. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for Canada to be rubbing shoulders with these mostly horrible people.

Jean Chrétien: Canada’s national embarrassment, just this past week stood before the assemblage of La Francophonie: the world’s international embarrassment, and declared that no form of violence is acceptable.

Chrétien was comparing the terrorist group Hezbollah, for their attacks against unarmed Jews in South America and the Middle East, to the right of Jews and Israel to self-protection and military retaliation.

He was making this comparison, because the leader of Hezbollah was a front row seat guest, at this year’s Francophonie held in Beirut Lebanon. I guess he felt that he had to say something, primarily since this meeting of the world’s French speaking nations, invested so much time and effort in Israel and Jew bashing. So what else is new?

Here is Canada’s Prime Minister, sitting with a large group of French speaking leaders, many of whom are barbarians leading totalitarian regimes, while he participates, even if uncomfortably, in an orgy of anti-Semitism. Wow, what great kudos for Canada.

At best, the Francophonie is a monumental waste of Canada’s time and money. This year’s participation cost Canada more than $50 million. Imagine; $50 million can buy as many 50 CatScan machines.

What would you prefer Canada to invest its time and money in? Satisfying a bunch of tyrants, usually lined up with their outstretched blood soaked hands looking for freebie grants from us? Or putting our time and money into satisfying the basic needs of Canadians?

The vast majority of the countries which comprise the Francophonie are places you would probably never want to visit, let alone call home. So what the hell are we doing with this group of savages? Do we play with them solely because they are French speaking? Or do we participate because it benefits Canada?

I can not see how associating with racist, misogynist, brutal, totalitarian, broke, third world countries whose only dubious tie to us is the French language, has any benefits whatsoever for Canada.

As far as I am concerned; let’s just close the door on this national embarrassment and walk away. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for Canada to be rubbing shoulders with these people. Many, if not most of whom are horrible examples of humanity.

  1. No one is will to say the obvious, except you. There is a dearth of truth tellers in this society, we are all subject to lies, and liars. Political correctness will destroy freedom and liberty.
