Only In Canada You Say . . . Pity.

What can I possibly add to the litany of outrage caused by the report of the Auditor General on the fleecing of Canadian Tax Payers?

Where’s a cop? We were robbed!

An army of well connected Bastards in fancy suits, able to speak the language of the privileged, reached into our pockets and stole BILLIONS of dollars.

Forget about the $250,000,000 (million) pissed away into Quebec by Chretien’s buddies, while the current Prime Minister was the Minister of Finance no less.

Forget about the Billions of dollars pissed away by the Ministry of Human Resources under Jane Stewart, while the current Prime Minister was the Minister of Finance no less.

Forget about the Billion dollar (plus) price-tag for the gun registry no one wanted or needed, while the current Prime Minister was the Minister of Finance no less.

Forget about the $100,000,000 (million) spent on two new Bombardier executive jets the Prime Minister insisted he needed, even though he was months away from no longer being Prime Minister when he ordered them.

Forget about the reported $137,000 Paul Martin’s company received in business from the federal government over a period of a dozen years, which upon closer inspection turned out to be a slight miscalculation of $161,000,000 (million), while the current Prime Minister was the Minister of Finance no less.

Then there’s all the other crap we don’t even know about. And to protect us from these scandals is the hand-chosen ethics councilor Howard Wilson, who reports directly to the Prime Minister who is the final arbiter of what’s right or wrong.

It’s like France hiring the chief figure skating judge to oversee the Olympic ice skating competitions.

But what really PISSES me off to no end, are the IDIOT voters who will probably put this pack of THIEVES back into office. It’s not as if this flagrant abuse of the public purse is anything new. It isn’t. Yet, time after time, Canadian voters bring back the crooks.

Here is Canada’s current Prime Minister pretending that he didn’t know about any of this, even though the Auditor General gave him her report 2 months before any of us had a chance to see it; including Parliament.

He also sort of forgot to mention that he was PERSONALLY informed of this nightmare IN WRITING 2 years BEFORE the Auditor General’s report.

Do you believe that Canada’s Prime Minister didn’t know that his company received $161,000,000 (million) in government business while he was the Finance Minister? I know when I receive $161 in business, never mind $161 million.

If it’s true that Paul Martin was unaware of all these horrific abuses of the people’s money while he was Finance Minister, and now Prime Minister, he should step down for being stupid, ill-informed and incompetent.

But if he did know about any of this, he should be investigated for aiding and abetting in grand theft, fraud and conspiracy.

In a fair and equitable world, these Bastards would be charged with theft, fraud and conspiracy. They would be fighting for their freedom not to be going to jail. They would have all their wealth seized to repay what they stole, and they would be shunned by the corporate world, and forbidden to ever hold public office again.

That is what would happen in an equitable world. But this isn’t a fair world. This is Canada, where the people who rape us will hardly lose a step, and will continue to carry-on as if nothing happened.

They will live their precious lives never even thinking or caring that their incompetence, greed and THEFT forced children to go to bed hungry every night.

That elderly people very often can’t afford to feed themselves, take their medication and pay rent all at the same time because of their greed and dishonesty.

That people wait months, and sometimes more than a year for medical procedures because Billions of dollars were stolen or wasted by these ingrates, opposed to being invested into the healthcare system.

And that our military is sent into war zones, very often armed with not much more than sticks and stones because the Prime Minister felt the need to give his Quebec friends at Bombardier $100,000,000 (million) in business for executive jets the government didn’t need.

And we must not forget about the Sea King death-trap helicopters we send our military pilots up in everyday.

The people who’ve stolen from us are horrible. The people who will not punish them are worse. And the people who will bring them back to power are scum.

This is Canadian politics, and the pathetic legacy of Canadian voters. As I always say: Inevitably; we get the government we deserve.
