Stopping the war short of total surrender by Iran, will be a grave mistake. Iran should never again be in a position of controlling the straits of Hormuz, having Nu clear capability, allowed to have Ballistic missiles or to sponsor terror organizations, anything short of these goals is a loss for the U.S. and the world!!

Cathy and Ed, I too pray that you are correct. Let’s bear in mind that the IRGC and the regime-supporting forces in the Iranian army have not been eliminated. In fact they never will be. And what about the unarmed civilians? Open season. That is why it is ludicrous to hope that a treaty of any sort can be negotiated between the West and the suicidal Iranian dictatorship.
