Hello from The Other Member of the Galganov Household
February 23, 2026
Hello Galganov Dot Com Readers. This is Anne Galganov filling in for Howard.
On Friday, February 20th, Howard had an unfortunate accident and broke his right femur bone. He was rushed to Hospital here in Myrtle Beach and received excellent surgical care.
He is recovering with great speed and courage and his usual super positive attitude. While he has not been able to work at his computer, he has been keeping in touch with all his usual news sources and doing lots of research for his next Editorial which will be in a few days.
He is eager to pick up his mantle and be in touch with all his loyal readers.
While he is able to read your emails until he is released from hospital, which could be tomorrow, it may take a bit of time for him to get back to you.
Thank you to all of you who support and appreciate everything that Howard does for all of us.
Best Regards,
Anne Galganov

Thanks Anne for keeping us in the pipeline. Now I know why my wife raises cain when I try to do things I should have given up when I was his age. I still think I can do some of those things like clime a ladder at the age of 92. Maybe I need to rethink some things. Charles

Yikes! I, too, cannot wait to hear what feat went awry and caused such an unfortunate mishap. Meantime, my prayers for a pain free and speedy recovery. Thanks for filling us in, Anne.

“Damn the torpedoes full speed ahead!” Wishing you a speedy recovery as you navigate through some troubled waters.
Best wishes for a quick recovery Howard.
I’m sorry to hear this about Howard. Wishing him the best. I can relate as I broke my left femur falling off a ladder June 15/23. To make a long story short, I got a surgeon who made my leg worse to the point I had to have a second surgery that caused more damage. Bottom line, my court case comes up in May of this year. Cheers to you both.
We will be praying for a quick and complete healing for Howard. We will be praying for you and the boys also.
Hello from Stony Plain Alberta. Wishing Howard a full and speedy recovery (even though you are in that nice, warm climate zone of North America, while up here in the Great White North, it’s freezing). I always enjoy reading your articles, and look forward to them returning soon. Take care.

My prayers were answered: You didn’t break your neck. I’m sure you would agree that laughter is the best medicine. Good thing this happened in the States; in Canada you’d still be waiting in Emergency. Up ‘n at ’em, bro. You’re one tough mutha. Anne, I love you. The perfect wife and best friend.
O My Goodness, Really Regret hearing that. Will be praying for Howard AND a quick recovery.
Please convey my best wishes for a speedy recovery to Howard. Thank you Anne.
First clue it wasn’t Howard writing was the proper, in context, use of capital letters :). So sorry to hear of Howard’s accident. Please send our (Marla and my) wishes to Howard for a speedy and complete recovery. Refuah Shlema. Can’t wait to see those unpredictable capital letters again!!!
Howard. When one says encouragingly, “Break a leg, Howard”, they don’t expect you to take them literally! Best Wishes for speedy recovery. Peter
