IF CANADA WON’T SUPPORT CANADIAN OIL TO THE PACIFIC RIM – AMERICA WILL:

Talk Is Cheap . . . And Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney Is One Of The Primary Cheap-Talkers.

First – Carney Promised During the Canadian Federal Election that he Would Take-On Trump (Elbows-Up). That Turned-Out To Be Bullshit.

Then Carney Also Promised to Fight Tariffs with Tariffs . . . That Too Was Bullshit.

And For The “Piece De Resistance” . . . Carney Promised Pipelines for Western Oil to Flow to the Atlantic on One Side of Canada – And to the Pacific on the Other Side of Canada . . . Problem Being – Carney Also Promised a Gazillion Native Tribes and the Premiers of the Provinces where the Pipelines Would Have to Travel . . . That Not A Weld Would Be Put Into the Pipeline Steel Without their Final Approval on Everything from Financial, Environmental or Geographical Mapping.

In Other Words . . . There Will Not Be Any New Pipelines For Canada.

CANADA IS NOT THE ONLY COUNTRY THAT CAN ACCESS THE TWO OCEANS:

Saskatchewan . . . Which Perhaps Holds the Second Largest Deposit of Potash in the World, Along with Tremendous Wealth in Oil & Gas, Also Wants To Get Their Products To International Markets. But with Canadian Regulations & Canada’s Pacific Ports Being Incapable of Shipping all the Potash Saskatchewan Can Produce, Including the Non-Approved Deep-Water Ports to Ship Oil & Gas . . . Guess Who Can?

Saskatchewan Potash Giant – Nutrien . . . Has Announced that they will Build a $1-Billion Dollar Export Terminal At Washington State’s Port Of Longview, Which Got Alberta Thinking . . .

WHY THEM & NOT US?

Why Does Alberta Have To Fight With Carney’s Bullshit To Get Their Oil & Gas To Market Through Canada, Having to Jump through Expensive & Time Delaying Hoops for the Natives, Environmentalists & Uncooperative Premiers of Other Provinces to Decide Yay or Nay, When they Can Simply Send their Products by Existing Pipelines or Rail for Potash to the United States, and Ship their Oil, Gas & Whatever Else Through American Deep-Water Ports on Either Coast?

A Short While Ago . . . Oregon & Washington State were Not that Much Inclined to Have Oil Shipped through their Territories & Ports . . . But Perhaps Not As Reluctant Anymore, Since Bullshit Walks & Money Talks.

I Would Worry Less About Alberta Leaving Canada & More About Saskatchewan.

While All The News & Focus Seems To Be On What Is Alberta Going To Do, Canada’s “Quietest” Province – Saskatchewan – Has a Tremendous Resource Based Economy – Wealthy Beyond Compare with Potash, Gas, Oil, Uranium, Minerals, Lumber, Grains (Wheat), Cattle and a Highly Skilled Workforce.

Saskatchewan Is Home To Substantial Rivers & More Than 100,000 Fresh Water Lakes . . . Saskatchewan is in the Middle of Continental Canada (Manitoba On The East – Alberta On The West) with an Almost 400-Mile Southern Border Running Alongside North Dakota & Montana, Giving Saskatchewan Access To Any Market Saskatchewan Wants To Reach.

With Only 1.2-Million People, which is About One Seventh the Size of the City of Greater Toronto (7-Million People) . . . Saskatchewan is a Mega Resource Based Money Machine, Contributing Enormously to the Overall Financial Benefits to all of Canada . . . So Of What Advantage Is Canada To Saskatchewan?

Anne & I Have Been To Saskatchewan Multiple Times, And I Don’t Say This Lightly . . .

The Prairies Of Saskatchewan Are Breathtaking. The People are Incredible, and the Cities are Big Enough to Offer Everything you Could Want & Need, Yet Small Enough To Feel Like Villages.

If Anne & I Were ever Going to Decide to Move Elsewhere in Canada, Outside of Ontario where we Currently Live, Our First Choice Would be Saskatchewan (Probably Regina) . . . Our Second Choice Would be Alberta (Probably Calgary).

The Other Great Redeeming Feature Of Saskatchewan . . . is Saskatchewan’s Old World Conservative Values. As A Matter Of Fact . . . The First Time Anne & I Stopped in Saskatchewan to Buy things for the Road, As We Were Traveling Across Canada, we were Shopping at Different Departments in a Walmart Superstar . . . When we Met-Up in the Grocery Department . . . We Both Remarked On The Exact Same Thing . . .

At One Point – Both of us (Anne & Myself) Felt that When we Looked at the Prices at this Walmart, we Imagined we Had to Convert the Value from American Dollars to Canadian Dollars, Because It Seemed To Us As Though We Were Now Shopping In America.

SO HERE’S MY SKINNY ON CANADA . . .

The People of the Maritime Provinces (Newfoundland/Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia & New Brunswick are Extremely Nice, Generous & Welcoming, Who Unfortunately Make a Scant Contribution to the Overall Strength of Canada. But We Love Them Nonetheless.

Quebec Is A Beggar Racist Province – Where the Unrestricted Use of the English Language is Against the Law, which Exists Financially on the Largesse they can Steal from the Rest of Canada – Predominantly From Alberta & Saskatchewan.

Ontario, But Specifically Toronto, Thinks Theirs Doesn’t Stink, and that the Whole of Canada Should Get on its Hands & Knees Giving Thanks to Bay Street (Equivalent To Wall Street) for the Privilege of Having them in Confederation.

Resource Based Manitoba With An Ocean Of Wheat, Mining, Forestry & Industry . . . Sits Quietly Between Ontario & Saskatchewan, Hoping No One Will Notice they are even there, Not That Manitoba, With A Population Of Only 1.5-Million People Feeds Off Canada Like A Parasite . . . That’s The Job Of Quebec.

Saskatchewan & Alberta are the Only Real Conservative Provinces in Canada, which Seems to Carry the Water for the Entire Country.

And British Columbia – It is a Rich Resource Based Province that is as Loony as Washington State, Oregon & California, All Wrapped-Up Into One. If the Pacific Part of British Columbia was to Fall off the Continent Into the Ocean . . . I Don’t Think The Rest Of Canada Would Miss It.

In Short . . . That Is My Opinion Of Canada, and Why Canada Should Think Long & Hard About Disparaging Canada’s Two Central Western Provinces, Because – Like No One Gets Married with Plans to Divorce . . . But Crap Does Happen – Just as Countries Don’t Amalgamate (Confederation) with Plans to Split Apart at Some Point in the Future . . . That Kind Of Crap Happens Too.

Canada’s Parliament In The Year 2000, Under the Liberal Leadership Of Jean Chretien, Passed a Law (The Clarity Act) that Lays-Out the Roadmap for a Canadian Province to Separate from Canada, Pre-Confirmed By The Canadian Supreme Court In 1998.

If Any Two Provinces Decide To Pull The Trigger On Canadian Separation, Whether an Entire Split from  Canada, or by Some New Arrangement Giving the Provinces Much Greater Autonomy . . . They Will Be Saskatchewan & Alberta, Eventually With The Rest Of Canada To Follow – In One Way Or Another.

Who Knows? . . . Maybe Trump Will Get His 51st State After-All?
