I Love Pancakes, Especially With Real Vermont Or Canadian Maple Syrup, And Cracker Barrel Makes Them The Best.
I Don’t Think There are any Cracker Barrels on the Canadian Side of the Border, Certainly Not Anywhere Near where Anne & I Live, because if there were, I Would Be Eating There Far Too Much.
But When we Traveled in the United States, which was Really Often, Cracker Barrel, No Matter where we were was a Destination-Point Along our Way. We’ll Start Traveling South of the Canadian Border Again Real Soon.
Besides the Same Menu & Great Food that is Priced Relatively Well from Coast to Coast in America, which Has Always Been Consistent . . . Anne & I Loved The Sameness Of The Ambiance Of Each Cracker Barrel No Matter Where It Was.
Every Cracker Barrel Gave Us The Down-Home Comfort We Could Always Count-On.
On April 1, 2023 . . . Bud Light Hired this Guy (Dylan Mulvaney) who in Earnest Pretends to be a Woman to Promote the Newly Woke Policies of One of America’s Most Iconic Beer Brands.
Neither Anne Nor I Are Big Drinkers. Perhaps During a Warm Summer, Anne, Myself & Guests . . . Might Consume A Case Of 24 Over The Span Of 4 – 6 Weeks. But, as of the Date When Mulvaney Started his Bud Light Shtick, Anne & I Have Neither Purchased Nor Consumed a Drop of Any Budweiser Product.
And Even Though Budweiser has Spent a Fortune Trying to Win Back its Lost Market . . . They Will Never Be Able To Win Anne Or Myself Back. Besides, we Now Find Yuengling, which is America’s Oldest Brew & One One of the Best American Beers on the Market.
I’ve Inserted Bud Light Into This Conversation, because Anne & I are Looking at Cracker Barrel through the Same Prism. I Love their Pancakes. But I Can Make My Own just as Good. And if I Want to Eat Pancakes in a Restaurant, there are Many Excellent Pancake Restaurants that are also Just as Good. And I Can Bring My Own Maple Syrup.

Howard, Burning or desecrating a Gay Pride Flag in America will get you arrested and charged with a hate crime. I think it may also be true if you desecrate a Black Lives Matter flag.

Spot on Howard. Just read where “Cracker Barrel” has reversed its course and will keeps the old logo, etc. However, to little to late. I did not know that CB supported the lgbtq cause until this brouhaha came about (shame on me). They have lost my business.
I wish to point out that a respectful way to do away with an old and/or damaged U.S. flag is by burning it in a fire large enough to consume it in its entirety. So burning a flag is acceptable under those circumstances. The key words, of course, are *respectful way.*

Shalom H. Right on target. It’s a shame the penalty for treason our forefathers applied is not applied today in both countries. We have to many Torys and quislings in our countries and both countries would be better off without them.
Old Glory should be viewed as sacred and honors those who have died for this country. No different than desecrating a grave at Arlington cemetery or one of the hundreds of National cemeteries. It should be considered hate speech! Our Congress should put that in words and make it law. I’m tired of the free speech BS. It’s a weak argument mostly used by liberals. It’s hate speech when you burn my flag and a knuckle sandwich will follow!
I agree completely, but is raising the Palestinian flag – which calls for the killing of all Canadian Jews – not also calling for the end of Canada as we know it – or do Jews not count?
Burning or otherwise desecrating the LGBTQ and BLM flags or signs should be the duty of every patriotic American. Likewise, every goofball who flies the Palestinian or Hamas or any other terrorist flag deserves to face the wrath of pissed Americans.
