When I accepted the “JOB” of organizing a special event for the JMA (Jewish Motorcyclists Alliance) Ride To Remember (R2R 2012) in Toronto, I never expected that it would lead to great new friendships, and a significant degree of personal disappointments in people who I held in some regard.
In essence – the story of . . . “And The Truth Shall Set You Free” is a study in human nature, and a microcosm of society enveloping the Good, the Bad and the Untrustworthy.
This story has been written to chronicle my unique journey as a 62 year old, who embarked upon what should have been a simple task to organize a motorcycle event, where Christian and Jewish Riders, primarily from Canada and the United States of America would come together on Parliament Hill in Ottawa Canada, to make a solemn Pledge of NEVER AGAIN to a Second Holocaust, and also to stand in solidarity with Israel’s RIGHT to exist, and the Right of Jewish People everywhere to live their lives in FREEDOM and security.
Right from the beginning, I knew that nothing would be simple about any of this, and knew that it would take me in directions I could never have imagined.
But, how far this journey took me goes beyond even how far my imagination could have anticipated.
The story of this journey was chronicled on my Web Site (galganov.com) as a series of eleven editorials, which have been compiled into a single E-BOOK.
